Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater?
If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. You will be introduced to basic scuba diving equipment and will get to experience scuba diving for the first time! Virtually everyone who participates in a Seaview Scuba Discover Scuba Experience continues on to complete a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver certification! In many cases, this experience can count toward that certification, putting you a step ahead of the game when you decide to go for it.

After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more. Completion of this course will certify you for dives to a depth of 100 feet!

•Rescuing panicked divers
•Rescuing unresponsive divers
The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers agree that this course is both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.
Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. You will work closely with a Seaview Scuba PADI Instructor to expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training will develop your leadership abilities, and will qualify you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. During the PADI Divemaster program, you will learn dive leadership skills through independent study and a Seaview Scuba internship. You will complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems. You will put this knowledge into action through a structured internship or series of practical training exercises.

Most New England scuba divers have heard tales of the German U-Boat laying on the bottom of Block Island Sound in 120 feet of water. One of the first requests heard from newly certified divers is "when can we dive the u-boat?" Seaview Scuba is now offering a certification package which will allow divers to gain the experience and confidence to safely perform this dive.
